The press release is published on the socialisme.nu site. “Lami Özgen, President of the Federation of Public Services (KESK), together with other trade union officials and members has been arrested in Ankara. According to the Turkish Police a total of 71 people were arrested in recent raids. Leading functionaries of the Education Union (Eğitim-Sen), as well as colleagues from the Local Government unions  (Tüm-Bel-Sen),  Telecommunications (Haber-Sen) and Healthcare (SES) were among those arrested.
